The Village has been developed under an extended construction plan.

The timeline has been:

August 2015 - the single level units 1-27 were completed.

August 2016 - Levels 0-5 (units 3101-3511) in Kiwi Block, and Level 0 of Ruru Block became available.

July 2017 - Levels 1-3 (units 2101- 2305) of Ruru Block became available. 

July 2017 - Level 4 of Ruru Block was opened as the Care Home.

July 2017 - Level 5 (units 2501-2535) of Ruru Block became available - including Serviced Apartments. 

July 2018 - Levels 0-5 of Tui Block (units 1001-1508) were completed.

September 2018 - Levels 0-2 (units 6001-6208) of Kowhai Block were completed.

August 2019 - Levels 0-3 (units 7001-7306) of Puriri Block were completed.

August 2019 - Levels 0-3 (units 8001-8306) of Manuka Block were completed.

December 2019 - Karaka Block and Nikau Block were completed.

March 2025 - Kauri Block and Totara Block were officially opened, and the Village was completed.
